Itinerary 1 (Beginner & Intermediate)



DAY 1  HOME COUNTRY – CHRISTCHURCH – QUEENSTOWN


Arrive in Christchurch and then transfer to Queenstown via domestic flight. Meet the local representative and settle in the hotel in preparation for your adventure journey.



DAY 2 QUEENSTOWN – FIRST DAY CYCLING TRAIL


Ride to the Lake


A great way to start your bike tour is to be accompanied by our experienced local guides for the 3 hours Lake Tour. Start with a Safety briefing and warm-up on the e-bike at Queenstown Gardens and then ride along the hidden trail Shotover and Kawarau rivers with stunning lakefront views. This is the best way to see and learn about our amazing countryside.



DAY 3 QUEENSTOWN – EASY AND RELAXING DAY


Walter Peak Farm Tour & BBQ Lunch


Cruises across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm aboard the TSS Eanslaw (“A vintage steamship”). You will be greeted by the friendly host on arrival. Stroll the lakeside Gardens and enjoy a garment traditional kiwi Barbeque prepared by the farm chef at Colonial Homestead. Spend a few hours of relaxing time and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of beautiful scenery at the farm before heading back to Queenstown by boat.



DAY 4 QUEENSTOWN SECOND DAY CYCLING TRAIL


Ride the Vines


Transport from the hotel to the historic gold mining village – Arrowtown. ‘The Ride the vines’ tour runs along the Arrow and Kawerau rivers, crossing 4 magical Suspension Bridges. The bike path continues over the Kawarau Bungy Bridge and finally brings you to Gibbston Valley – Famous Central Otago Winery to taste the local wines and sample the Artisan Patter.



DAY 5 QUEENSTOWN ADVENTURE DAY


Jet Boat & Nomad 4WD Safari Combo, Skyline Gondola & Luge Ride


Today will take you to experience a unique breathing jetboat ride through dramatic and narrow Canyons, and keep your excitement level high with a series of 360 spins. This will be followed by riding on the most spectacular quad bike rides road 4WD adventure to see the NZ backcountry with gold panning.


Relax on the scenic ride in the iconic Skyline Gondola in the afternoon and enjoy the 220-degree panorama views of the whole of Queenstown. Take a few rides on the thrilling luge rides if you are still not having enough of the excitement of the day.



Day 6 QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND- QUEENSTOWN


Milford Day trip -Coach – Cruises – Coach


Sit back and relax on the glass roof luxury coach with comprehensive commentary and travel to world-renowned natural wonder- MILFORD SOUND. Travel through the rugged and windy Milford Road and stop for those iconic photographs en route. Get into the cruises and enjoy the towering peaks cascading waterfalls and amazing wildlife.



DAY 7 QUEENSTOWN – WANAKA -QUEENSTOWN FOURTH DAY CYCLING TRAIL


Wanaka Lakefront to Lake outlet -90 mins


Take an easy and cruisy ride in the pretty little small-town Wanaka today. Get on your bike and start from the wide flat single track from the marina, then follow around the back of the yacht club to Eely Point, and continue along the beach to Bremner Bay. You will enjoy the views of the beginning of the Clutha River – Wanaka’s Outlet. Finish a breath-taking journey near the campground and enjoy an ice cream before returning back to the township.



DAY 8 QUEENSTOWN – CHRISTCHURCH -HOME COUNTRY


Get yourself ready to fly out from Queenstown to your home country via Christchurch.

Traveling on the most scenic road in the world by coach from Queenstown to Glenorchy. Biking on the flat unsealed road, you will see the stunning Mt Earnlaw/Mt Alfred/Pikirakatahi along the route which also provided access to some scenes of the “Lord of The Rings” Stop at the township for a quick lunch and coffee or shopping before back to Queenstown.


Let yourself indulge and relax in the cedar-lined hot spa while overlooking the Shotover river after a few days’ craziness and excitement.

DAY 7 QUEENSTOWN – FOURTH CYCLING TRAIL


Four Lakes Loop Trail & Osen Hot Spa


Only 15 mins away from Queenstown, the 25 km four-Lake Loop Trail takes you past most of the 4 beautiful lakes (Wakatipu, Kirkpatrick, Moke, and Dispute), as well as the digger trail and 7 Mike Bike Park. The loop combines some cattle tracks, gravel roads, and some sealed roads into a single loop and it takes approximately 4 hours to complete the trails.


The trail is great for the recreational riders but also provide a downhill/flow and jump trail for the more experienced riders.

DAY 9 QUEENSTOWN FIFTH DAY CYCLING TRAIL


Lake Dunstan Trail


Take a step ahead to make a little bit of a challenge to one of the new and more popular cycle trails in Otago today – The Lake Dunstan trail.


Transfer to Clyde from Queenstown in the morning, then the trail follows Lake Dunston, to Kawarau River and the stunning Cromwell Gorge. The 33 km journey takes about 3-4 hours.


The key features of the trail – are the man-made landscapes, rich Maori, early pioneer history, abundant vineyard, and cellar doors in Bannockburn.
