DAY 1 AUCKLAND – NELSON
Arrive in Auckland and connect your domestic flight to Nelson.
DAY 2 NELSON -Mapua – Food, Wine, and art Tour on wheel n Nelson
Tasman’s Great Taste Tour
Take a relaxing ride today to discover the Great Taste Trial Markers out of Nelson. The easy ride lets you enjoy the famous craft breweries, renowned wineries, and World of the Wearable Art Museum.
You will be pedalling through the old railway Reserve cycle path on the way to Richmond. Stop by and enjoy craft beer and lunch at Stoke. Then head to the coastal path to visit wineries and sample the Nelson local wines. Witness the wild species at Waimea Estuary and cross the Waimea Swing Bridge before reaching Rabbit Island. Follow the trail along the sandy beach until you reach the Ferry Landing. Cross the Channel with Mapua Ferry to Mapua Wharf. Stroll at the surrounding galleries, shops, café, bars, restaurants, or beaches in the afternoon before returning to Nelson city.
DAY 3 NELSON - KAITERITERI – Golden Bay and Abel Tasman National Park
Golden Sandy Beach & Abel Tasman National Park Cruises
The perfect way to distress yourself is to lie down and relax on the sandy beach to feel the golden sand between your toes and the sea breeze in your hair.
On board a comfortable sailing catamaran of scenic cruises to explore the Abel Tasman National Park. With the wonderful views of the coastline and great vantage points and spotting playful wildlife in the ocean below.
A short walk in Kaiteriteri is also a great way to see the panoramic views of Tasman Bay. You may also like to venture on kayaking or Paddle boarding around the calm and shuttled water bay.
DAY 4 NELSON – Wine tour on Bike in Nelson
Moutere Hill Winery Tour
Picked up from Nelson City and transferred to Mapua Wharf. From here you will cycle out of Mapua and make your way to Moutere Valley, Where Neudorf, Kahurangi Estate and Moutere Hills wineries. The next stop is Mahana winery where you lunch and enjoy the amazing views over the vineyard.
The Moutere is also well known for its arts and crafts! You will see the Hops, blueberry farms, and Apple orchards along the cycling trail. You will also have time to stop and view some galleries at your leisure. A must-stop, of course, is at the oldest pub in New Zealand.
DAY 5 NELSON – BLENHEIM – Marlborough Vineyard Accommodation
VINTNERS Retreat
Check yourself in at the Vintners Retreat and enjoy this beautiful park-like centrally located modern villa while you explore the Marlborough region. The villa sits amongst the vines in the Wairau River Valley of Renwick, Marlborough. Only a short walk to cellar doors of New Zealand’s best Sauvignon Blanc. A short drive will take you to Havelock with its Green Lipped Mussels or Picton and the Queen Charlotte Sound. Either hire a bike and wander around or choose to pick up some locally- made artisan food at the local stores and then enjoy a private BBQ on your patio with a glass or two of Marlborough’s finest wines. Dip in the heated swimming pool and let yourself thoroughly immersed and relax in this little slice of paradise.
DAY 6 BLENHEIM – Explore Marlborough on Bike
Half-day Marlborough Wine Tour
The half-day wine tour is the best way to view, taste, and flavor the Marlborough wine region. The friendly and knowledgeable guide will pick you up from Blenheim accommodation and take you to visit three boutique Marlborough wineries. The gentle, peaceful low-pace to ride on the super wine trail through the vineyards, river banks, and quiet country roads.
DAY 7 BLENHEIM – PICTON – Taste bud sensation
Greeeshell Mussels Cruise Experience
Travel to Picton wharf today and onboard the luxury vessel to start our heavenly indulgence food tour.
The cruises set off from the Marlborough Sound at 13:30. What an ultimate food experience while indulging in the freshly-steamed mussels from the local farm, coupled with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Sitting on the dock you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Sound. Set across the tranquil waters of Queen Charlotte Sound, learn about the Marlborough region's local history and marine farming. The journey back to Picton Marine is set at 16:30.
DAY 8 BLENHEIM – AUCKLAND – HOME COUNTRY
Depart for Auckland and connect international flight to home country.
